That gives you a reliability not available in other brands. This may not ever happen to you but, if a surge comes down the powerline and frys one of the motors, you can simply detach it and run on the single motor until the other motor can be replaced. Motors for our machines are much more reasonable than other motors and you can easily replace it yourself. Three wire connections and a clamp on the hose. No serviceman fees or mileage to incur. The seal on your bags is 3/8" wide so no problems with sealing. Not only that, since the seal is that wide, there is a kit (included) that you can use to burn code numbers and letters into the seal. No more wondering what's in the bag and how old it is. (This goes for all our vacuum machines, even the smallest ones) SUPER vacuum time!
